Britney Spears Getting Some Good Press? The Showcase of 'Just Britney' might just turn it around! by Sacreeta Veneficus

"Just Britney" Art Exhibition opened on September 28th 2007, at the World of Wonder Art Gallery in Hollywood, Calf. After all the negative publicity Britney has endured over the last year, who could think of a better Celebrity to be featured than Britney Spears.

Taking a grand look into the life and career of the popstar's ups and downs, it couldn't come at a better time for Britney, as she truly needs something to get the negative press image to change.

As a child star who started out wearing Mickey Mouse ears, as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club, to over night sensation as one of the youngest pop star singers at the age of 16, Britney grew up in the eyes of the Media. Adored and loved by many fans, they watched her basically grow up into a beautiful young woman, become a mother, go through two marriages and they witnessed her try to put her life back together after a difficult divorce and rehabs. This showcase bares all the truths, paparazzi photos, magazine covers, basically it's a collage of all the publicity into one show.

The showcase, featuring about 50 pieces of artwork will be displayed by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbatos, the guys who made the The Eyes of Tammy Faye, a documentary, who was a tv avangelist Tammy Faye Bakker Meener collected the articles for the collage of Britney Artwork, quite simply calling their exhibition, 'Just Britney' when they opened the doors of their gallery on Friday. Thairin Smothers of Burlington, Iowa, co-curator of the 'Just Britney' art show at the World of Wonder art gallery has been actively supportive of the Show, and is said to be receptive to the media, with grand tours to the medium of Britney Art.

Some of the featured works of art displayed was a well done portrait of Britney, and the buzz on the street says the Gum Blond XLVII by Jason Kronenwald, who used chewing gum as his medium, is one of the hot ticket items to see. Also on display was an 9 ft 8 inch Snake Charmer created by Jamie Boling, which was inspired when a paparazzi took a rude picture, catching Britney on film hopping out of a car wearing nothing but a skirt to cover her downstairs. The Tabloid type photos of Britney aligned the walls, and one entitled 'Trainwreck' (C) by artist Sham Ibrahim was also displayed.

If you happen to be LA, why not drop by the World of Wonder Art Gallery in Hollywood, and check out the exhibit for yourself.

If you are interested in the story behind the story of Britney, however, there is a book you could purchase, entitled Britney Spears' Heart to Heart written by Britney Spears and her mother Lynne Spears, who has been quoted many times, as her mother and best friend. It is available at Amazon.com.

Peace and Love
